Hottie Josh began as a small project in late 2002, the site was originally never intended to become a fansite. On January 1, 2003, Hottie Josh was launched as a full fansite with a small selection of photographs for a gallery. As its popularity began to increase, due to the lack of updated fansites, the site had to move to a much larger host. Hottie Josh was then transfered to Topcities to allow for a growing fanbase in late July 2003. Although the site was hosted on a better host, the bandwidth quickly reached its limit. On June 2004, Hottie Josh remained hosted at Topcities but under a premium account, which gave more bandwidth that would be able to take in the high rates of visits. After not being able to continue to pay for the premium account, Hottie Josh then moved to Fan-Sites.org. Where the site has been hosted at since January 2005. In February 2007, the site moved to its very own domain, j-hartnett.org. The site remains hosted by the wonderful Gertie of Fan-Sites.org. And it has become the most up-to-date fansite available to fans.
